Acne one of the hardest things about growing up. Many young adults have such a terrible outbreak that they don't want to go out in public anymore. It's not unusual for adults to also have problems with acne. Let's look at what acne is.

Do you know what Acne is?

A common skin disease is acne. The pores become clogged, and this leads to blackheads, whiteheads, and other types of skin problems. People are affected by acne in more than one way.

Acne has two variations. Whiteheads are caused from oil and baceria getting trapped in your cells. This classification of acne also includes blackheads. The blackish color comes from the oxidation of the sebum through open pores. Blackheads take a long time to heal because the sebum drains slowly.

The second type of acne is termed inflammatory. Cleansing your face daily will prevent acne. Pustules or pimples are the result of this treatment. This can also cause more dangerous problems like cysts. Treating this type of acne is more challenging, and requires consistent care from a doctor.

You need to know where acne happens to get an understanding of what causes it. Acne is created in the hair follicles as well as the sebaceous glands. Over active sebaceous glands during puberty will also cause more bacteria to be produced. The bacteria that causes Acnes is refered to as Propionibacterium which is known to be on ones skin. However, uncontrolled bacteria production allows acne to develop. To make it simple clogged pores are the main cause of acne.

Fortunately, there are a number of treatments available today, and they are more effective than treatments available in the past. If you have acne that is difficult to treat, you need to consider your options.
